FINDING A GOOD FIT THERAPIST CAN BE TOUGH.

Let’s Get Things Back on Track
Feeling stuck sucks. Especially when you feel as though you’ve tried everything you know to get unstuck. Yet, you’re in the same place, unable to move forward or see things differently.
That’s what I love about therapy; it helps you move forward and build momentum towards something new. To help you do that, I learn about what unstuck looks like for you and I help you create change in your life through connection, validation, challenges, mini-experiments, and reflection.
My job is not to judge but to share space with you and help you move forward, stronger and better than before. As a former teacher, I love identifying what each client needs to make therapy work for them.
I have both ADHD and a chronic illness, and I am a parent to neurodivergent kiddos; I’ve had formal and on-the-job training (aka daily life) that helps me work with you to facilitate change.
Challenges and life go hand-in-hand, but there are ways to turn the challenges into strengths. I’d love to help you gain momentum so you can enjoy your life.
Am I the therapist for you?
Here’s what working with me is like:
Come as you are.
Acceptance and knowing that you can show up just as you are are essential to therapy. A non-judgmental space and attitude allows you to look at what’s going on and examine your feelings. I’m not perfect, and neither are you. Let’s go from there!
Our pace is determined by you.
This is your journey, and you have control. Whether you’ve had bad therapy experiences and aren’t sure this is right for you, or you are eager to make progress fast, I make sure you have the space to talk openly about how you feel therapy is going and how much progress you are making.
Therapy is hard work, but there is laughter, too.
Therapy doesn’t just take place during our weekly sessions. Insights, feelings, and new experiences are byproducts of therapy. But therapy can also mean laughter, jokes, relief, bursts of AHA moments, and excitement that you are moving toward a more authentic self.
